about cynthia robertson

Cynthia is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP). She is also a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.

In  addition,  Cynthia is a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator for the American Kennel Club and is certified in Cat and Dog First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross. Cynthia also has her TAGTeach Level 1 Certification and a Novice Trick Dog Title.

Cynthia grew up in Washington D.C., where she attended the National Cathedral School. She was an avid equestrian throughout high school and college and received numerous awards across the country.

She previously worked as the General Manager at WOOFS! Dog Training Center in Northern Virginia, as well as the Barn Manager at Laurel Ridge Sport Horses. 

Cynthia has volunteered at numerous rescue and rehabilitation programs, including Westside German Shepherd Rescue, Good Dogs are Trained, Taking the Reins, and Riding for Autism.

Cynthia loves teaching tricks and helping dogs become well-mannered members of their family.
