We may be at a socially distant time, but your puppy's needs for socialization are as strong as ever. Now you can bring your puppy to the Kenwood Canine Clubhouse for an open play session, supervised by Dog Latin's Christina Folkers, a certified training partner of the Karen Pryor Academy.
Puppy socialization groups will meet Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Each session is $25. If demand is sufficient, we may add additional sessions. Please go to the registration page to view a complete schedule.
Please arrive five minutes before your scheduled session. Park as far to the right as possible, to avoid being confused with clients arriving for veterinary appointments. Wear a protective face covering, as you would when grocery shopping. Please remain in your car; give us a wave and we’ll pick up your puppy. On departure, please arrive at the scheduled ending time and stay in your car; it may take a few minutes to return your puppy.
The playroom will be sanitized between sessions. Trainers will wear masks and gloves.
Dogs must be no older than 16 weeks.
Please fill out the information on the linked form to register, and then follow the instructions you will receive and contact Kenwood for payment and to provide copies of your puppy's vaccination records.
Payment is made directly to Kenwood Animal Hospital by calling 301-654-3000. Payment is required at least 24 hours in advance of all sessions. Puppy parents on the waiting list will be contacted if sessions become available.
Because puppy socialization sessions are proving quite popular, we ask that you notify Dog Latin at least 24 hours ahead, if you have to cancel. No refunds can be given after a session begins.
Kenwood Canine Clubhouse is at 5437-B Butler Road, Bethesda, Md. 20816.
